Geology:
Type consists of alluvial soil, Mediterranean and bromosol.
Biotic
Vegetation types that dominate the forest Harlu Wildlife, the
is representative of forest ecosystem types of terrain are, consist of forest
natural and mangrove forests.
Flora:
Some tree species (flora) are dominant among the Gewang
(Corypha gebanga), palm (Borrasus flabelifer), Kesambi (Schleichera oleosa),
pandanus (Pandanus tectorius), kedondong forest (Lamea grandus), kepok
(Gossampinus malabarica), fig (Ficus sp), bamboo (Bambusa sp),
Rhizophora sp and Sonneratia sp.
Fauna:
As for the types of fauna found in this area include the deer
timor (Cervus timorensis), cow (Dugong dugong), great-great (Haliaretus
leucogaster), sea pigeons (Sterna sp), eagle (Elanus sp), forest pigeons
(Columba sp), birds pelicans (Pelicanus roseus), alap-alap (Falco moluccensis),
white heron (Egretta sacra), cuckoo (Streptopelia chinensis)

continued by road to the location.

Pantai Baru - Harlu a distance of about 46 km can be achieved by
public transport with travel time approximately 1 hour 10 minutes.
