Site Description
High steep forested mountains intersected by fast flowing rocky rivers, giving way to intersected hilly terrain near the coast. No coastal plain. Eastern coastline rocky and steep. The area contains a rich bird and less rich mammal fauna including all the Buru endemic spp.
