Site Description
Clusters of small coral island and atolls in the Muna Straits. The area is
reported to be a good habitat for dugongs and turtles but there are no details
available. On the Straits-sides there is mangrove forest (5,000ha) which could
be included in the proposed Marine Park. Principal vegetation: Mangrove
